Romantic Eiffel Tower elopement in Paris

How can this romantic Eiffel Tower elopement inspire you?

If you are considering a romantic Eiffel Tower elopement in Paris with a handful of guests then Mariela & Alex Paris elopement may be a nice inspiration for you. A Paris elopement does not have the same flow or timeline as on a traditional wedding day would have. Because an elopement mainly turns around your ceremony and photo shoot in Paris. (Not so much cocktail & reception that plays a big role during a traditional wedding).

So you want to enjoy the most beautiful spots in Paris as backdrop for your ceremony and photo shoot. That means starting early in the morning is crucial. This is the only possible way to beat the crowds. The areas around Eiffel Tower, Louvre & Co. are all outdoor public locations and get really very busy later in the day. (If you celebrate a traditional wedding by renting a private venue then this is nothing you have to consider!)

So your Paris elopement timeline has to adapt to these special circumstances. As your Paris officiant I am always happy to help you with useful tips and suggestions about how to plan your elopement day in Paris. Here I will show you Mariela & Alex romantic Eiffel Tower elopement. You can use the flow of their elopement day as inspiration for your own. And don’t forget to read their sweet love story further below.

First look at the Eiffel Tower

Mariela & Alex wanted to start their elopement day with a first look. So they got ready in different rooms at their hotel and traveled separately to our meeting point at the Eiffel Tower. There they had their first look at sunrise time (see pics above). Now it is really important to start at around sunrise time at the Eiffel Tower if you want to have photos like Mariela & Alex. Meaning no crowds or many passersby in the background, beautiful and flattering light as well as an intimate and undisturbed moment.

Sunrise and sunset time is different every day in Paris. Mariela & Alex got married in June and sunrise was around 6am. That means you need to wake up and get ready well before 4am in order to be on time for sunrise. But believe me as your celebrant in Paris: It is more than worth it!

Eiffel Tower ceremony & romantic celebration

The first look and a few couple photos on Trocadero were followed by Mariela & Alex elopement ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. For the ceremony their four closest friends and only guests were joining us. So we started the ceremony at around 6.30/40 am with a gorgeous view on the Eiffel Tower. And thanks to the early morning time there were not many people around. So we really had a quiet and intimate moment for the ceremony. Because not every couple likes it if total strangers are watching and filming their vows, right? That’s why again the very early morning time is so crucial.

As their Paris celebrant I created and performed a bespoke ceremony for the couple. Mariela & Alex wanted a non-religious humanist ceremony focusing on their love story. (Scroll down and read their love story further below!) What was also important for the couple was to celebrate together with their four close friends. So we incorporated a flower petal toss at the end of the ceremony as well as a champagne toast to cheer glasses with their guests. As Paris officiant I do offer add-ons such as rose petals or champagne to celebrate your union. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in adding this to your ceremony package.

Time for the two of you

After Mariela & Alex elopement ceremony and celebration their friends left to meet the couple again later for brunch. So Mariela & Alex now had some time just the two of them to explore Paris and take many beautiful wedding photos together. After the Eiffel Tower they went to Alexander III bridge and to a typical Parisian Café to take portrait and couple photos. And to simply enjoy time just the two of them and celebrate their love.

Mariela & Alex met online and went on a exceptional first date together – they went to see a comedy show. They laughed about the same jokes and quickly realized that they had found someone special in each other. So they kept dating and quickly fell in love with each other.

Alex proposed to Mariela when she came back from visiting her family. He picked her up at the airport, took her for a little walk in a nice area on the way back where he went down on one knee and popped the question.

It has always been Mariela & Alex dream to visit Paris one day. As it is a gorgeous place and known for its romantic vibe they decided also get married during their trip to Paris. Their dream of a romantic Eiffel Tower elopement in Paris came true.
