You’ll receive detailed QUESTIONNAIRES that allow me to know you better and to understand your story and values.

I’ll share IDEAS & RESOURCES supporting and guiding you with vows, readings, rituals, guest contributions and musical choices.

CREATING YOUR CEREMONY, I capture your story and essence as a couple, and bring together everything we’ve discussed.

We coordinate FINAL TOUCHES together – the overall ceremony flow and all the details that make your ceremony run smoothly.

A REHEARSAL CALL helps us walk through everything step by step, so you feel completely confident and relaxed on your wedding day.

On your WEDDING DAY I’ll arrive early at your venue, to coordinate with your team, and guide you calmly into your ceremony.

Question couples often ask, when getting married in Paris

Is my wedding ceremony in Paris France legally binding?

In France, only civil ceremonies performed at a town hall (mairie) are legally binding. French law requires at least one partner to have residency in the town where the civil marriage takes place, which means most international couples are not eligible to marry legally in France.

Many couples therefore complete the legal paperwork in their home country and celebrate their wedding in France with a symbolic ceremony, which allows complete freedom in location and personalization.

Do you work with our wedding planner even if you don’t know them?

Absolutely. A wedding celebration is teamwork, and your day runs smoothly when all vendors work closely together. As your Paris wedding celebrant, it is important for me to coordinate with your wedding planner or venue coordinator, as well as with all vendors involved in the ceremony – such as your photographer, videographer, musicians, or DJ – to ensure a seamless ceremony flow.

I connect with your planner and key vendors in advance to align on all important details. On the wedding day, I arrive well ahead of time to coordinate once more with your planner, ceremony musicians, and visual team, so everything unfolds smoothly.

We need a bilingual celebrant: Which languages do you speak and what options do you offer?

I would be delighted to create a bilingual ceremony for your destination wedding in France. Together, we will discuss what level of translation best suits your languages, family backgrounds, and guest experience – whether a fully bilingual ceremony or a ceremony primarily in one language with multilingual touches at key moments.

As a multilingual wedding officiant, I offer complete bilingual ceremonies in English, French, and German. I can also incorporate touches in Italian and Mandarin Chinese. I am a true language enthusiast and have even learned phrases in Spanish, Japanese, Danish, Dutch, Albanian, and more – small personal touches that can make your ceremony feel even more inclusive and meaningful.

Do you officiate wedding for LGBTQI+ couples?

Absolutely. As an inclusive Paris wedding celebrant, I officiate ceremonies for all couples who wish to celebrate their love and bond – whether bride and bride, groom and groom, non-binary partners, or any form of life partnership. Together, we create a ceremony that reflects who you are and celebrates your relationship authentically.

Are you open to officiate religious or interfaith ceremonies?

Yes. As an interfaith celebrant, I am happy to incorporate religious or spiritual elements such as scripture readings, blessings, or rituals into your ceremony. I have experience creating interfaith ceremonies that respectfully weave together traditions from different faith backgrounds – such as Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Hindu traditions – or taking a more spiritual and inclusive approach when that feels right for you.

Can family members or friends participate in our ceremony?

Yes – I love creating ceremonies that connect your exchange of wedding vows with the presence of your loved ones who are there to witness and honor your union. There are many ways to include family and friends, depending on your vision and the level of participation you would like. Contributions can range from ceremony readings or assisting with a ritual, to performing a group ritual involving all your love ones.

Can our children be part of our wedding ceremony?

With great pleasure – these are often especially touching moments, as your children are not only witnessing the ceremony but actively becoming part of it. Depending on their ages, participation can include traditional roles such as flower child or ring bearer, readings, family rituals, or family vows that you also make to your children. For blended families in particular, these moments can beautifully symbolize not only your marriage, but the strengthening of your new family bond.

Can we write our own wedding vows?

I warmly encourage couples to write personal wedding vows, as they make the ceremony more personal, authentic, and emotional. I am happy to guide you through the process and help you prepare your vows while ensuring they sound natural to you – heartfelt and sincere rather than performative.

Do you travel outside of Paris for weddings?

Yes. While I am based in Paris as an English-speaking celebrant, I regularly travel across France – and occasionally worldwide – for my couples. Simply let me know where you are getting married, and we will make it happen.

Do you also offer wedding planning or day of coordination?

As a celebrant, my role is fully focused on creating and officiating your wedding ceremony. Wedding planning and day-of coordination are separate professions with different responsibilities and a very different focus on the wedding day.

I work closely with planners and coordinators and am always happy to collaborate with your wedding team to ensure your ceremony flows seamlessly, while I remain dedicated to guiding and holding space for this important moment.

Can we read the ceremony script before the wedding?

Yes, of course – if you prefer to review the script in advance, I am happy to share it with you.
That said, from experience, I recommend not to read the script, so that the ceremony on your wedding day usually feels more emotional, natural, and authentic – rather than over-rehearsed.
Rest assured, I only include details we have previously discussed through our calls, questionnaires, and emails. I also clarify in advance if there are any topics or anecdotes you would prefer me to avoid. Additionally, you will receive a detailed ceremony outline and we will schedule a rehearsal call to walk through the flow together.

Is a rehearsal included in your wedding ceremony packages?

Yes. A virtual rehearsal call is included in my wedding ceremony service.
During this call, we walk through the ceremony step by step, visualize positioning and timing, and address any final questions so you feel fully prepared and at ease for your wedding day.
As I primarily work with international couples planning destination weddings in Paris and across France, a virtual rehearsal is usually the most practical and effective option. However, if you would like to schedule an in-person rehearsal at your venue prior to the wedding day, I would be happy to include this as an additional service.
